Before you connect, what this does and does not do
- Read-only. The permission we ask for cannot change anything in your Search Console or your site.
- Nothing is stored. We hold your access in memory for the length of this visit. No database, no copy of your data, nothing written to disk.
- No lasting access. We deliberately ask Google not to issue a long-lived token. Access dies within the hour on its own, and Disconnect revokes it immediately.
- Google shows you the permission first. You will see one request, "View Search Console data for your verified sites". Read it and decide for yourself.
