From third parties: We may supplement data from public sources (e.g., LinkedIn, Google Search Console exports you provide) with your consent.

  • To communicate about projects, invoices, and proposals
  • To improve website performance and user experience
  • To send occasional SEO insights (only if you opt-in)

4. Lawful Basis for Processing (DPDP Act Section 7)

We process personal data on the basis of:

  • Consent — when you submit the audit form or subscribe to updates
  • Legitimate use — to fulfill requested services and respond to inquiries

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with:

  • Form submission service: Web3Forms (for audit request delivery)
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager
  • Communication tools: Google Workspace (email), WhatsApp Business, Zoom
  • SEO tools we use on your behalf: Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console (with your written authorization)

All processors have their own privacy policies and are bound by data processing agreements.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary:

  • Audit form submissions: 24 months
  • Active client records: duration of engagement + 7 years (tax law)
  • Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default)
  • Marketing email lists: until you unsubscribe

7. Your Rights (DPDP Act, Chapter III)

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct or update inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Grievance redressal — file a complaint with us first, then with the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved

8. Cookies

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards: HTTPS/TLS encryption, access control on client dashboards, two-factor authentication on our tools, and principle of least privilege. No system is 100% secure; we will notify affected users of any breach within 72 hours as required under DPDP Act.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. International Transfers

Some of our tools (Google, Ahrefs, etc.) may process data outside India. We only use providers with adequate data protection standards.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent website notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect changes.
